 - And yet still, Trump insists he will build a wall.... from Telesur this morning:

After months of insults against Mexicans, Trump said again he plans to build a wall to protect U.S. citizens.

U.S. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said he hasn’t changed his mind and he still plans to build a wall on the border with Mexico, after a meeting with Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto in Mexico City on Wednesday.

During his presidential campaign, Trump has repeatedly promised to build a wall on the border with Mexico in order to stop "racists and criminals" from entering the United States, even going as far as to say that he will make Mexico pay for it.
During a round of questions by reporters, Trump said he had not discussed who would pay for the proposed wall.
“We’re saving that discussion for a later date,” said Trump
The visit sparked a strong debate on Trump’s xenophobic campaign against Mexicans, and in an attempt to boost his popularity, Trump turned to praising the Mexicans that work for his organization.
“They are amazing people, amazing people ... Mexicans are just beyond reproach,” said Trump. “Spectacular, spectacular and hard-working people.”
Trump visited Mexico after an invitation from President Peña Nieto, the same that was extended to Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, which she refused.

“Getting countries to work together takes more than trying to make up for a year of insults by dropping in for a few hours, then flying home,” said Clinton.
In June 2015, Trump said: "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best ... They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox, who has had several altercations with Trump, said his visit was a “great mistake” during an interview with CNN.
"Trump is using Mexico, he’s using President Pena to improve his sagging poll numbers," said Fox.
Trump is expected to give a speech on his immigration policies on Wednesday night in Arizona.

Hillary was also invited to Mexico by Pena Nieto and declined the invitation.  Had she gone, I imagine the protests would have been just as great or even greater given the NAFTA disaster which has denuded the environment, enslaved the Mexican people and driven millions of them into working for organized crime; her past stances (or true feelings) toward immigration and a border wall, and her most recent stance on the privatization of oil in Mexico:

Hillary does not have any amigos in Mexico other than the wealthy dinosaurs who just love Ronnie Reagan. I'll be back to focus on the fight between the Sinaloa Cartel and the CJNG in our region, updates on the USA farmworkers, and the water shut down TIJ-Rosarito starting on the 8th.
