Zeta notes YTD Total Executions in TIJ as of 12/03/18 Is 2,299

I have not been here because I had surgery yesterday - this wasn't in the Doctors office surgery this was at the SRS Hospital way out in Kearny Mesa.  When we finally came home I was able to check the news and here there was a shitty little message under this blog. I was going to try to answer it but I was too drowsy then of course as usual the connection went down:

The comment:

Dreamer said...
Great to see you back Maggie! I don't see anything about the poor 18 years olds executed in TJ. Do you have any information. Nothing in the papers new.

I put that up in case "Dreamer" decides to delete their message. What an idiot. Must be freakin blind.
Maybe just dumb and blind.

Meanwhile, in Tijuana for the month of November we are over 200 executions - and these are not just of 18 year olds.  Police officer executed in TIJ, another Police officer executed in Primo Tapia Rosarito, many women including the body of a pregnant woman located yesterday in the channel executed; minors executed along with not just "18 year olds", entire families in their homes executed,  men quite a bit older than 18 year old men executed.  Mutilations, bodies left in public places and on the streets for the whole world to see. What kind of a bullshit question was that anyway? When I am somewhat better I will be back with the latest reports on the state of affairs in all of the Municipalities which is bleak. I don't know when that is going to be, right now the pain medicine they gave me is simply not working, I could not sleep last night, I can't walk at all or put any weight on my one leg and I don't feel good, in fact, I feel like shit.

Then of course, the most pressing issue of all of our time - the migrantes.  What bothers me the most (other than the fact that the migrantes are suffering) are these American groups of  so-called "Revolutionaries" who orchestrated the caravana and the rush on the border - they need to take a long walk on a short pier.

The Migrantes In Tijuana:

I have not been so polite addressing them on this link from The Intercept, yet as far as I can see, no one seems to want to discuss this issue, not just here but on other "progressive" sites and in the USMSM.  Uncle Bob brought the subject up, I am "sheilawasbannedOMG".  So in order to save time, here is that link where I have added links from the local news sources going way back  to the denunciation of these groups by Padre Solalinde  and Sergio Tamai.  I fired one off before we left yesterday and am adding the latest report from the printed issue of Zeta after this blog.

Why won't anyone acknowledge this huge mistake by these American Groups and NGO's ???  Shameful.

Edit:  On second thought here are the comments - most importantly Zeta points out the migrantes have been coerced and forced by members of Pueblo Sin Fronteras to march - those who were interviewed by Zeta did so anonymously - very important report from yesterday:

 - sheilawasbannedomg:

From Zeta Tijuana Printed Edition 12/03/18:

"One sector of the migrant caravan pointed out with name and position to those who consider leaders and spokespersons within the contingent, with those who do not agree with force them to carry out activities in which have seen women, mothers and children exposed little ones. They accuse that this has divided the caravan and has contributed to the uncertainty. Some have chosen to return to their countries or do things on their own Irineo Mujica, coordinator of Pueblo sin Fronteras. David López, member of Pueblo sin Fronteras. David Abud. Milton Benítez The four are some of the characters that a sector of the so-called migrant caravan has fully recognized as leaders and spokespersons within the contingent, whom they also point out to make decisions without the consent of the migrants.

Several Central Americans who currently reside in the temporary shelter of the "Benito Juárez" Sports Unit in the North Zone of Tijuana, consulted anonymously by ZETA , shared that since the caravan crossed into Mexico, they have been responsible for carrying out activities in the that they no longer agree, mainly because in many of the cases they "subject women to demonstrate" or go to the front with their children in every situation of risk or "confrontation".

This is what Maria did - her real name for security reasons - who is accompanied by two girls of 5 and 7 years and a sister of 22 years; she pointed out that on Sunday, November 25, she was in the march "that had been said would be peaceful", when the federal police fence was broken, Irineo Mujica himself began to encourage them to go to the accesses of El Chaparral and the Garita de San Ysidro, something that those who apparently "were prepared" did. What caught the attention of the lady and that ultimately caused her to wonder about the legitimacy of the supposed help they are given, is that she realized that during the march several people between the contingent were already carrying their things and their belongings, because they had been told that they were going to be able to pass without problems, but nobody told them how, or that they would be received "by bombs and bullets on the same border".

This vision was also shared by Miguel -who is also omitted from his real name-, assuring that having gone to the peaceful march was only "a hair-raising and a waste of time", because when everything went out of control, he thought that that would not benefit them at all, "in itself they already criticized us, now it will be worse", was what happened in his head in those moments and returned to the hostel.  Miguel says he is "disillusioned" about the actions that these supposed leaders and spokesmen have been taking, because "they are badly exposing us, putting the women to march and the children, then today (Thursday 29) the hunger strike of pure women, not I know why they do that.

" Virginia -their real name is omitted for safety-, a 30-year-old Guatemalan, seconded Miguel's opinion because she did not agree that they wanted to carry out a hunger strike with women and young children, especially in the rain and inclement weather that occurred that day. "They take advantage of the people, here we come very humble people who want to get ahead and it is easy for them to fall for their intentions, but one must think first about their children, do things differently," he said. Although it has been repeatedly mentioned that the caravan does not have leaders, but spokespersons, this group of migrants knows very well that they are, at the beginning mentioned, who "put on the table what they have to do", as he did Saul - his true name is also omitted. This Honduran migrant stressed that "they dedicate and are in each caravan", but "not always doing things right", however, was also emphatic in saying that it is not the vast majority that follows or believes these characters, as could be appreciated on Sunday, November 25 during the peaceful march that ended in crossing attempts, since only about 500 people participated of the more than 5 thousand 500 that were at that time.

"The vast majority does not follow the roll, we know who they are, but for some they happen to fuck everyone, so clarify it," he said.

The general disinformation, the thought that everything would be easier, the bad decisions of some of its leaders or spokesmen and the disorientation on the part of the authorities, have provoked a very particular mood among these migrants who have put them between the sword and the wall, between deciding whether to stay and continue insisting, or better to go back home, where danger, violence and poverty await them. What happened on Sunday, November 25, after the peaceful march became an unfortunate mob to try to enter the United States, in addition to the subsequent folds and attacks with gas bombs and rubber bullets used by the armed force of the neighboring country , they calmed the hopes of several of the people who had to be in the middle of the fray.

In the same way, he shook many of those who waited in their spaces inside the refuge of the "Benito Juárez" Sports Unit in the North Zone, who, beyond seeing what was happening, imagined a war scenario with the thunder of bombs , bullets and helicopters hovering along the channel of the Tijuana River, where the events were presented. The day after what happened, several migrants gave up their illusion of crossing into the United States for reasons that they attributed to fear and reprisals, and opted to request assisted return to their countries of origin. Until Thursday, November 29, the National Institute of Migration (INM) reported that there were 600 assisted returns, 400 of these volunteers, and 200 submitted by the Municipal Police after having committed administrative offenses or crimes.

For some activists, this situation has been somewhat questionable, because they say that although migrants have not been forced to make these types of decisions, they have not been informed and advised about their legal status and their immigration status in the country, so they can stay in Mexico as a second option. They fear that as a result of this misinformation, in the coming days there will be many more people interested in returning home, where they would be at risk, especially because, in addition to the US President Donald Trump seems not to give in to the requests, it seems that "in Tijuana They are making life difficult for them by not offering them other options.

Alexis Romero, originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, joined the migrant caravan since he knew that this would be done, because among neighbors and friends it began to spread the idea that by reaching the border together, it would be easier for them to obtain asylum. The reason they told him was that due to the situation of violence and poverty that they are currently experiencing in their country, the US government would allow them to present their cases to the immigration authorities.

Although Alexis knows that since Trump entered the US Presidency everything has become more "chaotic" for migrants, he never imagined that he would actually receive them with gas bombs and rubber bullets once they were near the crossings, as happened that Sunday in the vicinity of El Chaparral and San Ysidro. "It was not what we thought," he said with a downcast expression, and acknowledged that in recent days he has wanted to give up everything, because he comes alone all this way, left two sisters and his mother, and has been "very difficult to "maintain" the force "to endure" the humiliations, the bad conditions in which we are and now even the aggressions of the Trump people ".

Also from Honduras, Mrs. Josefina travels with two young girls and a teenage son, her situation has also been filled with uncertainty and she does not know what is going to happen now. The day of the demonstration, she left with her three children because the idea was to march peacefully and for a moment, but she did not like "what other people started doing," because "everything went out of control because of bad decisions" of those who considered the "spokesmen" who were in charge of the contingent. Such a situation makes her "doubt" even those who were running the caravan because she does not know what personal intentions they have and, the only thing they generate, is to put everyone at risk. She added that since a few days ago they have not been liking the ways in which they address them and what they have been planning, for that reason, they no longer attend the audiences that they usually do on certain nights inside the hostel.

Added to this situation is another problem that even some spokesmen of the caravan, already denounced in a press conference: the "disappearances" of their comrades and various arbitrary arrests against them, accuse, have made the police who are sheltering the shelter . The fact that they are being detained for no apparent reason to present them to the authorities of the INM for immediate deportation has provoked irritation, malaise and fear, which mainly translates to families, who have chosen not to leave the shelter and end up being separated. .

This is the case of Derian, originally from Honduras, who had to live the experience of leaving the shelter for a coffee when it was already getting dark in the city. He was arrested by some municipal police for "looking for drugs", but thanks to the insistence that he was able to prove that he was going with his wife and three daughters, they released him. Since then he does not leave, he does not separate from the girls and asks favors from others so that they can take him food, water or something else from the outside.

This is added to the terrible conditions in which the refuge is located, totally exceeded in conditions and supplies, as well as in hygiene levels; At first it was announced that it would be for 380 people, then for 2 thousand and, later, for 3 thousand.  More than 6 thousand 064 migrants stay overnight, in unhealthy conditions that are reflected in the constant coughing of many of the inhabitants, derived from the strong flu that have been spreading among all.

Guillermo Trejo Dozal, Secretary of Health in Baja California, said that the overcrowding in the shelter is precisely what worries them the most, which is why it is intended to improve the conditions of the place so that the number of patients will not increase now that the rains are coming and cold. The official confirmed that in Tijuana have been granted 2 thousand 267 consultations for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, there are 101 cases of pediculosis, four of varicella, four positive with HIV and 34 pregnant women. The investment has been one million pesos for every 2 thousand migrants.

The governor Francisco Vega de Lamadrid accepted that the hostel is completely overrun, however, he blames it is because the federation has not yet entered with the resources that were requested and in the space is working with staff of the City of Tijuana and of the State. In a tour conducted by ZETA on Thursday, November 29, after the rain that fell in the city, he realized that the area of the court ended between puddles of water and a quagmire, so several families decided to leave and begin to settle in the streets surrounding the shelter. The state official continued with his speech that migration is an issue that concerns the Government of the Republic and, therefore, they have to take charge in what corresponds to them; for this they undertook the search for a new space that serves as a second shelter.

The Barretal is the space that has been thought of as the option, located in the Ejido Mariano Matamoros, in the East Zone of the city, where the contingent that exceeds the proportions of the Sports Unit "Benito Juárez" would be sent. However, the authorities themselves have met with a new challenge: the rejection of migrants who do not want to leave the group, who want to stay close to the sentry boxes because they have already requested asylum and have to be on their turn, especially away from the place, where they fear that the authorities will abandon them even more.

Marrin Adonai Ulloa, originally from Honduras, had been at the shelter for four days when she was asked if she would agree to be relocated to another shelter. His response was that it would complicate everything, since they want the asylum and be together with the group; He is accompanied by his wife and cousin. In contrast, adults have not shown such reluctance, as Mrs. Iris Margoth Oliva, from Honduras, who travels only with her son and is willing to go to another shelter no matter how far it may be, since she wants to leave the current one shelter of unhealthy conditions."

MORE ATROCITIES ! So, here is another example of the migrantes being uninformed by these great so-called revolutionary groups from the US:

The "Fiendship Park" has been shut down, which means people meeting up with their families cannot do that any longer.  There are super terrific humanitarian pro-migrante advocates here, one in particular Enrique Morones was interviewed by Frontera:

"The presence of Central American migrants in Playas de Tijuana affected hundreds of families who come to La Amistad Park to reunite with their loved ones through the border wall, since for about three weeks, the place has been closed.
This was reported by Enrique Morones, executive director and founder of the pro-migrant association Angeles de la Frontera AC, who considered that measure to be repressive and anti-immigrant. He commented that extreme security began when some residents of the city were confronted with the second part of the caravan that decided to camp near the border wall.
Morones said that currently anti-immigrant groups come to the area to provoke migrants and US border patrol agents. This situation has led to the indefinite closure of the La Amistad Park gate, so that families traveling from different states of the country and the United States are even further away because of the distance. In addition, several binational events, such as Masses and Christmas inns, are kept in suspense, in which minors usually meet their mother or father who is in Mexican territory.
Therefore, the founder of the AC declared that it is urgent that the leaders of the migrant caravan be made known so that activists and authorities can guide them in their actions and avoid irresponsible acts such as marches or hunger strikes in El Chaparral."

26 of the current migrantes break on through to the other side, thinking (because the bullshit revolutionaries never told them otherwise) that once they crossed over and even turned themselves in to BP they would receive instantanious asylum:

"Voluntarily, 26 people from the Central American migrant caravan surrendered to the US border patrol agents, in order to start their humanitarian asylum in that country. The delivery was gradual and by a gap in the border wall that is in Playas de Tijuana, while a mass was held in the area of the lighthouse. "God bless you! Blessings! Goodbye! "Were the expressions of the religious, who also prayed for a group of migrants, including minors, to fulfill their purpose: to live in North America.

According to Gabriela Cortés, of the pro-migrant civil association Ángeles de la Frontera AC, people decide to surrender to the border patrol agents with the idea of obtaining their right of asylum. This event automatically triggered the mobilization of the US authorities by sky and earth, in addition some employees began reinforcing work on the wall, despite the fact that at the top and middle of the bars is covered with barbed wire."

Further, over 60 % of the migrantes from the caravana are suffering from respiratory illness, they are fucking sick fucking sick fucking sick plus chicken pox has broken out. and there is no treatment or care for them.  Where are these great American "radical" groups who supposedly mobilized them and set them up for disaster?  Why aren't they providing medical care?  Where the fuck are they?  They are not providing shelter, food, medical care warmth security or clothing, nothing...any of the basics. They are letting the migrantes rot .  They need to go back to the United States and get the fuck out of here before anyone else gets hurt or sick.  I would never want these so-called "radical" groups watching my back, because they never would or could -they have no sense of logistics or priorities, what a bunch of bullshit immature reckless amateurs. They are NOT humanitarians.

Jorge Ramos was in town a few days back:

"The situation of the Central American migrant caravan is the shared fault between the governments of Central America, Mexico and the United States, said Jorge Ramos Ávalos. The journalist toured this Wednesday Benito Juarez Sports Unit, which for two weeks has become a "Small Central America", which is home to 6 thousand 62 children, women and men of Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. There, the migrants live in unhealthy conditions due to the overcrowding of the makeshift houses in each available shelter space. They have also felt the rejection of a part of the citizens who live in Tijuana, considering them as invaders. "I am saddened that in Tijuana there are few who are expressing their racism and their prejudices to Central Americans. We must not become Donald Trump. We must treat the Central Americans with the same generosity and solidarity that I would like to be treated, "Ramos said. The clashes with tear gas bombs between the CBP agents and migrants, he said, will further damage the image of Donald Trump, president of the United States, who described the caravan as an invasion. "This is not resolved with bureaucratic delays or with the wall. The only way to solve it is immigration reform in the United States and migration cooperation among the countries of Central America, "he said. For this reason, the journalist and opinion leader proposed that North America send migration judges to start the process of asylum for the people of the caravan, instead of militarizing the border."

And, he is correct.

Adios, I hope you guys cover these aspects because they are important. I'll be back in a couple of days...unless i am banned of course.

Here are more updates - 12/01 @ 5:45pm:

Okay we were talking about Pueblos sin Fronteras, then a new group popped up on the scene, this  group is also from the USA, Movimiento Cosecha (and supports PSF), and now yet another group of instigators is on the scene, also from the US.

This newest group is part of  the (take a breath, long title) " Coalicion Para Defender La Accion Afirmative, La Integracion y Derechos de Immigrantes y Luchar Por La Igualidad Por Cualquier Medio" also known as BAMN.

Apparently within the caravana, a decision had been made to march once again - today at noon - and according to Irinea Mujica the BAMN people are "anarchists from the USA."  This report states that the BAMN people dissuaded the migrantes to march today.

But who organized them to march today in the first place ?  I don't trust Mujica.

[VIDEO] Migrantes Desisten de Marcha a San Ysidro
Por, Uriel Saucedo

there's more events...I have to go put veggies in the pot roast.

Prior to the move to Barretal, there were hundreds who resisted and fear swept through the caravana based on rumors that moving would minimize their attempts to achieve asylum. This report says one man from Nicaragua is advising them not to go to Barretal. Some are finally realizing that just being in TIJ is no assurance of immediate asylum - remember, this is what they were told.  They were told it would only take three days to get into the USA and they didn't need any paperwork.

Ok ...there are problems at the site where the authorities have moved the migrantes  - El Barretal.
According to Frontera, this move has been out of control due to a group of migrantes urging the other migrantes not to go along with the Mexican authorities.

On the scene once again is Mujica (doesn't he have dual citizenship ?)who claimed previously he has not instigated discord, but supports the migrantes if they want to march again to the SYPOE.  Meanwhile, Sergio Tamai takes control (BTW, Sergio is supposed to be retired - and it's a good thing he is there) and there is an altercation between Sergio & Mujica.

Sergio is able to calm the migrantes down to an extent, advising them to stay put especially to care for their health and to appease the community of TIJ. Yet, hundreds of them decide to camp out on Cinco de Mayo which is a disaster waiting to happen.  Still more who wanted to stay outside of the baseball field - but could not, authorities have shut it and adjoining streets down to the migrantes - are missing or unaccounted for. And no one seems to know where they are:

Don't know what is going to happen next.

Finally, here is BAMN (By Any Means Necessary):

Wow..the jig is up..someone’s post mentioning Pueblo Sin Fronteras was just deleted..PSF is affliated with
The CARA coalition consists of the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, the American Immigration Council, the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, all groups advocating for legal status for illegal immigrants and expanded immigration overall.
wow,,guess where they get their money from?
These organizations have been funded by a number of major left-of-center grantmaking foundations, including the Open Society Foundations,
MacArthur Foundation,
Ford Foundation,
and Carnegie Corporation of New York.

Wow..ok..if this gets deleted, I’ll just keep posting it
sheilawasbanned OMG in response:
Hi Uncle Bob - running here so this should be quick.  Both Padre Solalinde and Father Patrick Murphy (local - of Padre Chavas in TIJ)) have blasted Pueblosin Fronteras for what they call "irresponsible" planning of this caravan.  No money, chaos, no information,, etc.

Unknown if this was a faction of PSF acting out alone. It could be.

Meanwhile Sergio Tamai  (Mexicali) of Angeles de Frontera pleaded with Pueblo Sin Fronteras to NOT hold the demonstration on last Sunday.  You can look Sergio up on google, we love him alot.

From El Sol:

"Tijuana.- The founder of Ángeles sin Fronteras, Sergio Tamai, asked Irineo Mújica, from Pueblo sin Fronteras, not to summon the migrants to demonstrate tomorrow in the streets of the city in the direction of El Chaparral.
The fact of going to make demonstrations in the booths only gives rise to Donald Trump justify the use of force against the caravan, he said. "They're going to be a minority again, they do not represent the majority, those are going to cause the lanes to close, as Trump threatens to close the gate and all the Tijuana residents will get angry." Local They will give legal advice for asylum of Caravana Migrante in the US "I make a call to Irineo Mújica, to Town without Borders, and any person that well intentioned or ill-intentioned, that stop that manifestation of Sunday morning, and of once we indicated it, anyone that mobilizes, any that approaches the sentry box , nothing else will do the job to Trump and will justify it, and we are not against, Angels without Borders, the Tijuana Migrant Alliance, the people who support them are telling them, stop, it is a moment of patience ", he pointed Migrants wishing to enter the United States should forget the option of trying to cross by force as they did on the southern border of Mexico, as this would only make things worse, at the same time, he said, they should focus on the process of Asylum request The demonstration is considered to start at ten in the morning, so it is recommended to take the necessary precautions if you are going to transit near El Chaparral. "

The worse is yet to come, heavy rains expected thursday then again on the weekend, it is a disaster.l
end comments .

 - I made a mistake by saying the the streets were closed off by the ballpark - nope, there are still at least 1,000 migrantes camped out on the street, we saw them yesterday. Also, it was one migrante killed in the street who was run over by drunk driver close to El Barretal - the other was badly injured.  And, if you go to the links you can see the migrantes are being watched closely at Barretal, hundreds of them have been arrested., El Sol is reporting around 3,000 migrantes are unaccounted for, to date 236 of them have arrested by the local authorities.

 - More rain on the way tonight through the weekend....which means we will lose power here.

We Should Have Listened To Padre Solalinde, Father Patrick Murphy and Sergio Tamai: The Migrantes Were Deceived By Extremists of Pueblo Sin Fronteras

This will be quick because it is late here, but I wanted to get some things down and give you some links before the storm arrives and we lose power here.

First up (if you haven't read these reports already), the Democracy Now! coverage of events in Tijuana, with special coverage of the US intervention into Honduran affairs and Dana Frank's book which illustrate how the US intervention has completely influenced the migrante exodus. Still have not heard much on that subject in the MSM.

Please note Honduran President Hernandez's brother arrested on cocaine trafficking charges.  Must run in the family. I think I ended the last blog by linking a report that President Hernandez wants an investigation into USBP firing rubber bullets at the migrantes  - really?  Since when has Hernandez or Jimmy "The Rat" Morales, President of Guatemala ever been concerned over the migrantes?

Democracy Now !

Immigration|Democracy Now

I mentioned last blog that my neighbors (and many others...I was on the fence but not completely dismissing this theory)) thought last Sunday's catastrophic events were produced by Trump himself to insure he would attain his "Wall" agenda.  Not so fast.  On last Saturday, Sergio Tamai of Mexicali, founder of Angeles Sin Fronteras and also speaking for the Alianza Migrante Tijuana asked Irineo Mujica of Pueblo Sin Fronteras to reconsider and cancel the planned demonstration as the results would benefit Trump's agenda, and defeat the intentions of the migrantes.

 - From: El Sol de Tijuana:

Pide Angeles sin Frontera que Migrantes No Se Manifestan

Almost a week before the demonstration, Sergio shared the information with Telemundo 20 of San Diego that a masse crossing was being planned at SYPOE, who passed it along to Fox News and other right wing news outlets. Here, because of Telemundo 20 the information went viral and scared people.

 - From Fox News:

Migrant Caravan Members May Be Planning 'Human Stampede' At US Border: Aid Group

 - But it wasn't just a free for all.  Both Padre Solalinde and Father Patrick Murphy (Casa Del Migrante/Padre Chavas Tijuana) have condemned Pueblos Sin Fronteras - or at least a faction of that group who Padre Solalinde calls "extremists" with irresponsible and unforgivable behavior, of exploiting and deceiving the migrantes to forward their own political agenda.  For the longest time, I agreed with Univision that this caravan was not organized by any group. I should have listened to the Padres.

 - From Frontera:

Lamenta Padre Murphy El Engano a Mgrantes de Caravana

" Father Patrick Murphy, director of the Casa del Migrante, lamented that the families of the Central American caravan have been tricked into entering the United States through a humanitarian asylum.

That has been noticed because people do not have their documentation and are unaware of the process, they also believed that in three days they would be in the American Union.

Like the priest and activist Alejandro Solalinde, Muphy railed against the organization Pueblos Sin Fronteras for allegedly organizing the exodus and bringing him to Tijuana.

"They did not inform them very well. They made false promises.

Cross in three days? I always had my suspicions, why are they doing that? Why not seek a dialogue with those who work at the border? They have a very political strategy and want to enter forces and this time it will not happen again, "he said.

The asylum process lasts a long time and very few will receive it, for what others will have for their Mexican dream, he added.

He explained that this situation will increase the work of the pro-migrant civil associations, who will have to support those people who fulfill their Mexican dream when establishing in the city.

Hence, he proposed that the governments of Mexico, the United States and Central America should generate actions to serve their communities.

The director of the Casa del Migrante said that Tijuana always arrives migrants of different nationalities, the difference is that this time they did it in caravans, in which they exceed 6 thousand members.

In that sense, he described as slow the preparation of the authorities to deal with the migrant exodus.

"The response of the authorities has been extremely slow.

For more than a month, every Thursday, we started having meetings with the shelters and the government of the three levels, there were always many promises. I always insisted that we make decisions because the migrants were going to arrive and that was no secret, "said the father.

Worse, Padre Solalinde offered up this information days earlier through several interviews where he also brings up trafficking in arms and people  - at least by what he describes are "extremists" within Pueblos Sin Fronteras.

 - From

Migrantes Son Utilizados Por Pueblo Sin Fronteras Para Trafica Armas: Solalinde

What next?  Apparently there is rumor that some of the migrantes will participate in a  hunger strike starting today, Frontera will update us.  Meanwhile, we were in Tijuana yesterday after my Doctors appointment and to say it is tense is an understatement.  You could cut the tension with a knife and people are frightened.

Right now it just started raining, it is supposed to come down heavy during the day - what will happen to the migrantes?  If someone doesn't find shelter for them, they are going to be soaking and freezing  from the rain.  Here are some links, you can read about the birth in the camp, the outbreak of chicken pox and other health issues at the baseball field, and after the disaster on Sunday, 100+ migrantes leave Tijuana and Mexico on their own accord. Dreams broken, thanks Pueblo Sin Fronteras Extremists Idiots !!

I am so angry at this Pueblos Sin Fronteras I could scream...but I am also wondering if they hired the strongmen to infiltrate the caravana from President of Guatemala Jimmy "The Rat" Moreles and President Hernandez's  (the puppets of the USA.) criminal gangs.

Tear Gas, Rocks and Rubber Bullets On The Border - It Will Get Worse - Update 11/26: US MSM Are Not Reporting Rubber Bullets Were Fired At the Migrantes But The Mexican News Sources Both Locally and Nationally Are

From La Jornada:

Con Gases y Balas de Goma Repelen a Migrantes que Intentan Ingresar a EU

Por, Blanche Petrich - 11/26/18

"Tijuana: The illusion of being able to assault the sky with slogans and banners lasted little more than three hours for half a thousand displaced from the Central American exodus. The futile attempt this morning to cross without documents the border to the most powerful and best armed country on earth, only with the unwavering will that has pushed them for six weeks to travel more than 5 thousand kilometers, ended badly.

The US Border Patrol repelled them at the height of the El Chaparral gate with tear gas and rubber bullets fired from the United States into Mexican territory, leaving four injured.

One of the injured is human rights defender Rubén Figueroa, of the Mesoamerican Migrant Movement, who observed the development of the events several meters away from the border wall. A tear gas canister shot from the north knocked him out. He was discharged after being treated at the general hospital.

In addition, 36 people were arrested on the Mexican side, all Hondurans. On the US side there were captured 73 who had managed to circumvent the dividing wall through a gap. Several witnesses said that the detainees did not perform any violent act; that when the demonstrators withdrew and returned on foot to the shelter, patrols stopped them and handed them over to the immigration station. These, apparently, will be accused of "causing disturbances, fights, disrupting public order and assaulting citizens" , according to municipal police. And they will be deported.

The march to the El Chaparral checkpoint was planned days ago. The commission of representatives and the organization Pueblo Sin Fronteras agreed to accompany the group with the condition that it be a peaceful walk.

The blankets and banners were ready. In one it was noted: "Trump, we do not hate you" . Another prayed: "We come in peace" . And another: "Catrachos (Hondurans): 100% worker" . One alludes to the xenophobic campaign that has been felt on this side: "Mexico, excuse me if I have offended you in something" . Some children carried flags from the United States. They left after 10 in the morning with the plan to demonstrate in front of the sentry box that divides El Chaparral and San Ysidro.

The majority of those who cramp the oversaturated hostel chose not to join the column. Many went with the idea that it was a demonstration of protest. Others had the illusion that they could make the final leap. They carried small backpacks and a blanket tied behind their backs. Upon arriving at the vehicular bridge that goes up to the entrance port of El Chaparral, they ran into a riot police barrier from the Federal Police. Without success they tried with dialogue to move forward.

Half an hour passed and everything indicated that the demonstration would return. But inexplicably the police force neglected the flanks of the vehicular bridge. The temptation was too great. In an instant, the Central American migrants started to run along the side rails and shouted " "Let's go, let's go!"" They invaded the restricted area of the border port. Headed by a young man carrying a Mexican flag, several hundred went down the canal of the Tijuana River, passed on to the other shore, perhaps thinking that they were already in US territory, and advanced towards the port of entry. But they mistook the road and moved towards the vehicular exit. It was closed by stones and mud. Another small handful ran to another direction, saw an open gate and entered directly into the mouth of the wolf: the parking lot of the INM. A few ended up directly in the kennels of the Beta Group.

In a chaotic period, from the top of the vehicular bridge, one could observe the surrealist scene: groups ran down a corridor that led them to a dead end street. Moments later they returned and took a wrong turn again. Another contingent walked through the commercial zone and approached the barbed wire of the port of entry, in the middle of thousands of cars stranded by the closure of the sentry box. Others walked to the border, climbed an embankment that took them to the disused train tracks and there they ended directly at the gigantic metal wall. It was the end of the road. And also the end of the peaceful nature of the march.

Several migrants found a hole in the wall. Some 73 dared to cross it. They were arrested. A Border Patrol agent fired the first gas capsule. From there followed many more. And rubber bullets. In their retreat, other boys picked up stones near the train tracks and threw them against the wall. That's what US Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen, interpreted in a statement issued in Washington of late as an attempt to transgress the infrastructure of the border fence and an attempt to hurt Border Patrol personnel by throwing projectiles at them .

Minutes later, on the same embankment groups of Hondurans, Salvadorans and Guatemalans were disappointed and alarmed. Some came tearful and had difficulty breathing. Others only saw clouds of gas in the distance.

Javier Bauluz, an experienced photographer who has recorded many other exoduses in the world, tries to relax for a moment in front of a beer in the picturesque Plaza Santa Cecilia, the Tijuanense Garibaldi. And suddenly he remebers an episode in 2015, when tens of thousands of Syrians and Iraqis fleeing the war tried to travel to Europe. They had reached Budapest. The Austrian government suspended the train run to Germany. The fugitives were stranded, in terrible conditions, in a country that rejected them.

They were totally against the wall, stunned. And one night a man came to shake them. He took them by the lapel and shouted: let's go. In 24 hours he organized a caravan that walked about 16 hours on the road, until exhausted. And that scene was the one that moved the government of Angela Merkel to welcome them. And he sent them to Germany on buses .

These are not similar conditions. But it does give the impression that for the epic displacement of Central Americans this day can be a turning point. And maybe in the shelter more than one will not be able to sleep, thinking about what is approaching. "

I don't know about you guys, but I can't sleep.  No word on Trump's "Return To Mexico" - that is, despite reports from Aristegui and the Washington Post nothing is official yet, Mexico has not officially agreed to the policy.

The remaining migrantes (minus the 500 men who were deported today) still need food, clothes, blankets, toilet things, happy things for the kids, etc.

  - Update/edit 11/26/18: The US MSM  (as well as CNN) are not reporting that rubber bullets were fired into the crowds of migrantes which included women and children by USBP, but the Mexican news sources both local and national are reporting rubber bullets were used against the migrantes. The US MSM has reported that "shot bangs" specifically two shot bangs were fired by the USBP. Here are examples from the Mexican Press: ( and after all, members of the Mexican press were very up close and personal on the ground, in the river channel and not standing off to the side at the Chaparral crossing)

More Information:

 - Frontera is reporting that Presidente Hernandez of Honduras has objected to rubber bullets being fired on the migrantes by USBP, and he says there is proof that these bullets were fired.

My neighbors are saying this evening that the whole catastrophe of yesterday @ the SY POE was a set up.  They think this rush on the Border was well planned in advance by Trump operatives with the goal  of making the migrants look bad and reinforcing Trump's "Wall Agenda". If you get a chance go to either or Zeta on Facebook and read the comments - the comments are mostly pro-Trump and super slick.  At any rate here is the Frontera report on Hernandez:

I was just talking to someone from Google and I told him that normally on the eve of Thanksgiving I would be baking pies and making cranberry sauce. But we are doing things a bit different this year.  Late last Sunday night Mike started getting sick.  He had an appointment Monday to see his Doctor for his knee shot and also to look at the dog bite on his hand which is taking forever to heal.

At any rate, at that point he was really sick.  They took a swab and confirmed he had the flu.  He had just had his flu shot two weeks ago (which made him horrible sick),  the Doctor told him that the flu shots are only 70% effective, but that he was in the window for the Tamaflu to work.  Get this - $60.00 for an RX even with insurance, what a joke our health care system is. The Doctor told him he needed to stay home for a week.  So, that is where he has been and that is what I've been doing, taking care of him.  Paris curls up and sleeps with him during the day, but he is a bad patient, terrible. Haven't been over to Mexicali or TIJ for the migrantes, will go next week.

 Update /edit 7:00pm:

 - Aristegui Noticias updates this "drill" which they are reporting lasted 30-40 minutes and included the pedestrian walkways where about *one hundred of the migrantes had gathered. Keep in mind this drill along with all the other "precautions" the idiot Trump has arranged at the Border, is costing the American taxpayer close to three hundred million dollars.

Reabren Garita de San Ysidro Tras Cerrar Por Media Hora

  * 07/23 Quickie Edit:  Today I read in the US Press - and it was another case of hysteria - that these migrantes were only 500 feet from US soil ! They were waving white flags ! Actually there were only two white flags. Presently, and prior in Playas de Tijuana where we saw the migrantes attacked by the counter migrante group there have been disputes within this group of how to approach the border. Check Frontera link below for current information, and Pablo Perez of Telesur also has mentioned a dislike between the groups of migrantes of different countries.

The point is - which the US press completely missed, this group that went to the pedestrian walkway actually believed they could convince Donald Trump to let them in - that is how naive they are. They do not understand (but they will learn) what a Nazi he is.  It also proves once again these people have no attorneys, no leadership, no one is explaining to them the conditions of asylum, they are disorganized and uniformed.  So basically this should once and for all bury the right wing runaway  notion that this entire group was financed by George  Soros or the Communists.

If they were paid so well to carry out their hopes of attaining asylum, they sure don't have any money for food or shelter.  So, the US article got that right - they are cold and they are hungry.  It's flippin cold here now, with drizzle and light rain.

Of course, the US report never mentioned why these people left Honduras in the first place - no mention of how the US triggered and sanctioned the present despotic and repressive government  and military which has been using the Honduran people (especially the indigenous people of Honduras) as target practice, hundreds of them in addition to sanctioning the gangs on the streets. It was the United States who trained the Honduran Military in the first place.  So fuck you Jeff Sessions for going along with & announcing the  changes to asylum requirements just a short while back - you knew the US backed the Honduran government which sanctions gangs (and drug activities) - yet now, being fearful for your life due to gangs no longer can be used as a reason for asking for asylum. And these gangs make the US gangs look like altar boys.

Meanwhile food, food, food, blankets, tents, clothes all desperately needed ! You can always just drop things off at Padre Chavas. Why didn't the San Diego report mention that?

end edit.

Of course by now you all know about the temporary restraining order put on Trump's new asylum rules:

  - But look at this: Trump's New Plan - "Remain In Mexico"

  - From the Washington Post

Trump Plan Would Force Asylum Seekers To Wait In Mexico As Cases Are Processed, A Major Break With Current Policy
By, Nick Mirott, Josh Partlow & Josh Dawsey

Well, the authorities are saying they are looking for a facility to "rent" for the migrantes to stay in and Governor Kiko is demanding the Federal government of Mexico  give Baja California money to cover the costs.

Update/edit @ 7:00pm:  Aristegui Noticias has reported that apparently a deal has been struck and AMLO is in accord with the "Remain In Mexico" Policy, which has surprised many people:

 - From Aristegui Noticias:

AMLO Aceptaria Plan de Trump Para Que Solicitantes de Asilo Esperen en Mexico

And Trump then not only has ordered the US Military to use deadly force against the migrantes but threatens  to completely shut down the Border.  Check this out:

 - From Aristegui Noticas:

Soldados Estadounidenses Autorizados Para Usar "Fuerza Leta" Contra Migrantes: Trump

"President Donald Trump said Thursday that he authorized US troops on the US-Mexico border to "use lethal force" if necessary against the migrant caravan, while threatening to close "the entire border" with Mexico, If the immigration situation goes out of control. "If it reaches a level where we lose control or people may be injured, we will close the entry to the country for a period of time .

The entire border, "he told reporters after a telephone conversation with members of the Army. There is "a very bad situation" in Tijuana, Trump said, and he said he authorized US soldiers to use deadly force against migrants "if they have to."

"I have given my approval (...) I hope you do not have to do it. You are dealing with a minimum of 500 serious criminals (...) I have no other choice. I want that to happen? Absolutely not. You are dealing with rude people, "he said. HAPPY THANKSGIVING: Pres. Trump holds a teleconference to wish service members around the world to happy Thanksgiving. - ABC News (@ABC) November 22, 2018

After a telephone conversation with military leaders on Thanksgiving Day , Trump also said that "there certainly could be" a government shutdown in December for financing the border wall.

Trump received an updated report from the air commander, General David Lyons, on the state of the fight against the Taliban and members of the Islamic State (IS) in Afghanistan and took the opportunity to refer to the migrant caravan.

"Keep them away from our shores. That is why we are making strong borders, you have surely seen in the news what happens on the southern border (...) large contingents and in many cases we do not know who they are and in many cases they are bad people, bad people, "said Trump from West Palm Beach. "We are not going to let anyone in, essentially (...) you are doing it over there, we are doing it here. We have their people on the border, military on the border for the first time (...) There has never been a Presidency like this, we have a powerful border now, "he said. Trump said the United States has the border wall and "with things that people can not even imagine." "We took care of the decomposed wall and wrapped it with barbed wire 'plus', and no one is going to enter these walls," said the president

. A San Francisco court recently invalidated Trump's plan to limit asylum or refugee applications to US border crossing points, since the law allows it to do so from anywhere in the country. "It's a terrible thing when the judges tell you how to protect the border, it's a disgrace. We are winning and you are winning, "he told the military commander. During the conversation, to commemorate the main non-religious holiday in the United States, the president made a round of talks with military leaders of the various branches of the Armed Forces and the Coast Guard.  "

 - More on the Thanksgiving Day threats from Trump:

I noticed this AP article on MSN in the wee hours of the morning; since then, the original article has been re-written to exclude Trump's statement on migrantes.  I was able to find the original AP article where Trump says:

"Trump asserted that there are "fistfights all over the streets" in Tijuana, Mexico, and that "these are not like normal, innocent people."

"These are people you talk to them and they start a fistfight," he said. "I don't want that in this country."

The people of Tijuana "opened up with wide arms" to welcome the caravan, Trump said, and "now they're going crazy to get them out ... because bad things are happening."

He said if U.S. officials "find that it's incontrollable, if we find that it gets to a level where we are going to lose control or where people are going to start getting hurt, we will close entry into the country for a period of time until we can get it under control. The whole border."

Naturally these are more lies by Trump.  It has already been established what happened here, that it was the anti-immigrante groups who reacted violently to the migrantes - not the other way around.

Troops At US Mexican Border to Start Coming Home
By, Wesley Morgan

 - So far, what we are reading locally is that there are 4,000 migrantes here which is a lower number than Buzz Feed. So, where are these folks supposed to stay? Let's look at the local coverage, I'll highlight a few reports going back to reactions of the near riots of the anti-immigrantes. You will recognize Angel Gonzales the author who keeps track of the executions in Tijuana:

From Frontera: (I wasn't the only one who was shocked)

No Esperaba Que Tijuana Materialializan Xenofobia:  Corresponsal de Telesur
Por, Angel Gonzalez - 11/20/18

"The signs of rejection and hatred towards the migrant caravan were not expected from Tijuana, said journalist Pablo Pérez.

The reporter of the international channel Telesur began the journey with the caravan from October 22 and arrived in Tijuana on Friday. Pérez was present during the anti-migrant march, on Sunday, which ended with a group of protesters trying to forcibly enter the shelter of the Benito Juárez Sports Unit.
During his stay in different municipalities, the reporter who currently lives in Mexico City became aware of the messages of xenophobia towards Central Americans, mainly on social networks. However, considering itself a migrant city, he did not imagine that these messages materialized in marches and acts of violence.

"The actions of these problems are remarkable throughout Mexico, but they stay in the networks, until now, this is when these protests are present, there never was. For the character of this city is where I did not expect them; Tijuana is presented to us as this migrant city par excellence almost of the world, Tijuana is New York of Mexico, "he said.

With almost a month accompanying the migrants, the communicator said that, contrary to what has been handled by some sectors that are against the caravan, there is no sponsor or organizer behind the movement. "There are reasons behind this, there are no interests, there is no organization and there is no money, that is what has been accused a long time but everything is so disorganized, so chaotic, armed on the fly, there is no way of thinking about an organization , a financing, "he explained.

Perez added that he has witnessed the problems within the group and that many of the members have no idea how they will cross into the United States. "One of the characteristics of these groups of migrants is that they distrust each other, because of their local origins, quarrels, because of their nationality, Salvadorans do not trust Hondurans," he said.

From Zeta:
Por, Manuel Ayala

 - But the truth is, it doesn't look good for the migrantes.  So far, Frontera has reported that 90 (ninety) of them have been arrested (which means deportation from Mexico)including a reporter from Honduras.(One migrante died on the Tecate-TIJ Highway, hit by a vehicle)  According to the authorities, the arrests are for either drunken public behavior or for smoking the ganja.  In one incident, the Municipal Police went into the area where hundreds of the migrantes are staying and arrested four men for smoking weed, which nearly caused a riot. You can see the reactions of some of the Mexican women - it is anti-immigrant hysteria which is growing here.  One of my neighbors said he thought the cops planted the dope on these men.  But more and more this racist hysteria is gaining a grip on Tijuana.

In addition, business people of Rosarito are blaming the migrantes for empty hotel rooms and condos over Thanksgiving Holiday.

 - Police Chief Mario Martinez then issued this statement:

From Frontera:

75% De Integrantes De La Caravana Dan Imagen De Ser Personas Agresivas: Policia Municipal
Por, Angel F. Gonzalez

" 75% of the members of the migrant caravan give the image of being aggressive people, said the director of the Municipal Police, Mario Martínez Martínez.

Today in the morning, four men were insured by agents of the Municipal Police when they were identified as allegedly responsible for smoking marijuana inside the shelter located in the Benito Juárez Sports Unit.

In his supervisory tour, Mario Martínez Martínez assured that Tijuana does not have the capacity to receive so many migrants; Until yesterday, the number of Central Americans in Tijuana reached more than 4 thousand.

"As director of the Municipal Police, I ask for the conscience of the federal authorities, I do not understand why they are allowing so many people to enter the city of Tijuana, it is going to get out of control, it is not possible that this is happening in the city, we are doing everything possible because we do not get out of control, "he said.

The director added that, according to what he has appreciated since the arrival of the first group of the caravan, most of the members are troublemakers.

"They are rich people, 75% are seeing their characteristics that are not ordinary people, the other ladies, children, parents, the other 75% I am seeing them in that way," he said.

Since the arrival of Central American migrants until yesterday, 90 arrests were registered, however, Martinez said, to continue with the arrival of more people, it will be more difficult to maintain order.

"There can be violence, fortunately we have been able to control this situation but this problem can be out of date; most, all the people we have arrested, the majority is for drug use, you enter the shelter and you feel a characteristic smell of marijuana, "he said.

Update/edit 7:30pm:  Frontera has added to the numbers of migrantes in Tijuana - they are reporting 5,000 - so this number changes.  Importantly there is a demonstration scheduled for this Sunday at the SYPOE by the migrantes,

They are planning to be in the entry lanes in between the vehicles going up to the States.  Just keep your fingers crossed that the counter demonstrators (anit-immigrantes) will not be present and cause more turmoil and violence. Keep your fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong.

Latest Tijuana Execution Figures:  Oh, and keep in mind Breitbart will most likely post these figures, although they NEVER give credit to their information sources who are the local Mexican reporters. Of course not, Breitbart HATES Mexicans:
 - From Zeta who reported yesterday at 10:50 am in the last twenty five hours 17 people executed in Tijuana, bringing the monthly total up to 141 dead in the city. Apparently the Caravana Immigrante is not going to slow down the executions - we were hoping that it would, but it doesn't look that way:

17 Ejecutados En 25 Horas, Solo Tres Victimas Estan Identificados

Note: Frontera reported on 11/17 ninety four executed in Tijuana so far this month giving the YTD Tijuana figure of 2,176 dead.  Adding the difference between the two reports would put us at 2,223 executed just in Tijuana YTD.  And people are complaining about the migrantes?

Tijuana Is Not The City Of Peace, Love and Fish Tacos - Anti-Immigrante Sentiment Is Rabid And Vile

Hoping my connection is on the road to recovery, what a hassle.

As though Tijuana did not have enough problems with the violence of the drug war, crime, impunity, corruption, contamination of the ocean waters, women and children trafficking and lack of a solid infrastructure, the anti-immigrante sentiment appears to be gaining momentum and these people are also wild-eyed and violent. It is shocking and I don't know why it should be - we know of  Mexican people down in Ensenada who despise the Jornaleros and treat them like dirt. Talk about a caste system, does this remind anyone of India pre-independence?

Still, it is shocking after all of the help and aid given to the Caravana Migrante by Mexican nationals from their hearts from Oaxaca northwards.  To top it off, Trump the prick is in accord with this vigilante anti-immigrante group and the Mayor of Tijuana.  So maybe it's not such a good idea for me to be driving around with "Fuck Trump" bumper stickers on my car. Hmmm...

We only made one delivery today and missed the demonstrations because we were on the other end of town, but streets have been closed off permanently in the Zona Norte, and traffic going up or coming back through San Ysidro POE is a nightmare - so keep that in mind if you are on your up or back. One interesting thing we saw two weekends ago going up @ SYPOE was a demonstration for the deported USA Veterans and they are also collecting donations so slow down and give them something. Just seeing that is enough to wrench your heart, these guys are for real. Nothing like being kicked in the teeth, and Trump the sadist knows how to do that so well.

Excerpts from events:

Toda La Informacion Relacionada Con Caravana Migrante : With pictures and video

 Zeta  with pictures & video

 - Zeta reported this morning that 15 more truckloads of migrantes arrived in Mexicali, which at the moment is filled to capacity. No mention of exactly how many migrantes were in this group.  Sergio Tamai has his hands full.

 - The good news from Frontera is that Padre Solalinde will arrive in Tijuana  with the last group of migrantes, he said they will be seeking asylum in the USA, and if not there in Canada. So, this group should be here tomorrow.  What a wonder this man is, fantastico !

Now the ugly events:

 - Around 9:00 am the anti-immigration march starts @ the Cuauhtemoc glorietta.

 -  Noon Frontera reports that hundreds of anti-immigrante protestors attempt to break down the concrete barriers and enter the area where the migrantes are sheltered:

"Hundreds of protesters against Central American migrants tried to enter the area where people are sheltered.

In the anti-immigrant protest, young people and adults participate, who in unison of 'outside Hondurans' and with banners 'To my country is respected' try to break down the concrete barriers and back away from the human barrier formed by the federal police.

Protestants have also waved Mexican flags and shouted expletives at those who defend the rights of migrants."

 - Zeta reports on the same event, adding that the pro-immigrante group (around 40 people) who had formed and were also planning to march disbanded after being assaulted by anti-immigrante protestors. Additionally, at the fracas reported above by Frontera, the anti-immigrante protestors assaulted reporters, including a reporter from Zeta:

" The group of demonstrators in favor of migrants broke the concentration they held in the roundabout of "Las Tijeras" because of the threats of the group that demonstrates against.
The protesters who are against arrived at the temporary shelter in the North Zone where the migrants are refugees. There they assaulted reporters, including a ZETA journalist."
