Congressman threatens to kill Black activists
A member of Congress just suggested he would execute Black activists in cold blood.
On Tuesday, Clay Higgins — a Trump loyalist who represents Louisiana’s 3rd District in the United States House of Representatives — posted a photo on Facebook of armed Black demonstrators three states away in Kentucky protesting the police killing of Breonna Taylor.
In his Facebook post, Higgins threatened any Black protesters carrying guns in Louisiana (an open carry state, by the way):
“I’d drop any 10 of you where you stand. … [Y]ou won’t walk away.”
Higgins, who has worked as a police officer himself, makes a show of wearing a gun when he’s out and about in Louisiana.
Apparently, his support of the 2nd Amendment and his adherence to laws against threatening to kill people do not extend to African Americans.
His post was so blatantly racist and violent that Facebook deleted it.
So Higgins followed up with another Facebook post saying “I’ll advise when it’s time [to] gear up, mount up, and roll out.”
This all follows Donald Trump — the President of the United States — praising the teenage vigilante charged with murdering two protesters last week in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Let’s be clear:
Trump, Higgins, and others in the Republican Party are fomenting violence by white people against people of color and dangerously nudging the country toward a race war.
Individuals have a right to say what they want, but elected officials should be held to account.

Up until this early evening we had heard very little if anything about the case of missing L.A. Firefighter, Frank Aguilar missing from Mexico. And, up until this evening, we were under the impression that Mr. Aguilar vanished without a trace from his condo in Rosarito Beach. That is what the US reports had stated and that is what his family had stated - the condo was located in Rosarito Beach.
Tonight, Mike had Channel 10 San Diego on to catch the weather (we are in for a worse heat wave for the next few days) and a report on Mr. Aguilar came up. Mike said of the video which showed where exactly the Aguilar condo was located: "That is NOT Rosarito Beach. That is here at San Antonio Del Mar, which is in Tijuana."
I missed the Channel 10 video and could not pull it up on the computer, so I scouted around. Here is another video which once again shows houses and condos here at San Antonio Del Mar in their report as the location of the Aguilar Condo:
~ From abc7 Eyewitness News, Los Angeles: With video:
In abc7's report it was noted the Aguilar condo was located near to Rosarito Beach...which is correct, but we are still in Tijuana. So far, no local news coverage of this event.

BTW, just a reminder...if you decide to come down here over the Holiday, don't go in the ocean here or Baja Malibu or Rosarito Beach- ocean is still contaminated.

The Month Of August
August ended with 180 executions in Tijuana, making the YTD total for Tijuana 1,352 dead. These days, as we watch the number of fatalities from COVID, the execution numbers may seem small in comparison. However with fracturing among some cartels, new players with ambitions to control the drug flow - even on the local street levels (narcomenudistas) the violence increases. Has this violence been overlooked because of the impact of the COVID-19 virus, or has it become acceptable for fear of consequences in attempting to curtail it, or because the drug trade itself embraces so many facets of society here providing employment and income ? Eternal violence.
You can find complete descriptions of the mayhem by reading Zeta's Daily reports (Noticias del Dia). Here are the reports from Ensenada which is also showing high numbers of violent executions (240-250 YTD !!!) within the city and further south, no place is exempt. This is of course, the transit route for narcotics which like her northern sister, is torn apart by competing cartels and sub-cartels.
To fill in the blanks as in who is fighting who, I'll try to get back here with the investigations from Zeta which names the characters and organizations involved. Depending on the heat that is- they are saying this next heat wave starting tomorrow is going to be worse than the last one we had. I just fade in the heat. It would be really nice to go down to Colonet or Camalu and just jump in the ocean where it isn't contaminated, but not a good idea these days. In fact, that hasn't been a good idea for years now.

It has all been like Dark Shadows for me...yesterday I found out that the Doctor who is going to operate on my eyes is a Trumpista. How do I know this? I inadvertently was wearing my Black Lives Matter pin when I went in for the the grueling examination....after three and a half hours when we were parting, she said to me, "It Is What It Is." Both the nurse and I groaned in dismay...I asked the nurse later - "Hey, is this doctor an ultra conservative? I mean, she said she was from Afghanistan...is she a true patriot?" The Nurse rolled her eyes and said meekly,'Well, I'd rather not say...but...' Mike reminded me in the car,'...I don't think you should wear that pin out here in Eastlake. The people who live out here are either drug dealers or Republicans.'. Maybe I should find another Doctor? gulp.
"U.S. President Donald Trump appeared to repeat a months-old conspiracy theory from Facebook on Monday, claiming without evidence that “thugs” in “black uniforms” were being loaded into a plane to attack Republicans in Washington, D.C.
The president’s unverified claim appeared to match a debunked story that went viral among Trump-supporting Facebook groups in early June. The story alleged that more than a dozen Antifa operatives in black clothing had been flown into Idaho to attack local businesses, although they never actually showed up.
Trump floated his strikingly similar story about a plane full of “thugs” in a friendly interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Monday. He did not provide any evidence to support his claim.
“We had somebody get on a plane from a certain city this weekend, and in the plane it was almost completely loaded with thugs wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms, with gear and this and that,” Trump claimed during the interview.
Even after Ingraham pressed him for more information, the president was mum on details.
“I’ll tell you sometime,” he said. “But it’s under investigation right now.”
He added that the “thugs” were being sent to the Republican National Convention “to do big damage.”
The RNC was held in Washington from Monday to Thursday last week, meaning the alleged “thugs” would have missed the event if they’d mobilized “this weekend.”

Trump doubled down on the story while seemingly contradicting a key detail on Tuesday morning, when a reporter questioned him on his way to Air Force One.
“This was a first-hand account of a plane going from Washington to wherever,” Trump said. He had suggested on Monday that Washington was the destination, not the origin point. “The entire plane filled up with the looters, the anarchists, the rioters.”
The president also repeated the claim that he heard about the plane from someone who was onboard. “This would be a person you know,” he told the reporter. “I can probably refer you to the person.”
TRUMP: "A person was on a plane, said there were about 6 people like that person, more or less, and what happened is the entire plane filled up with the looters, the anarchists, rioters, people looking for trouble. The person felt very uncomfortable on the plane." pic.twitter.com/VP0idEzLNi — Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) September 1, 2020
It’s unclear who among Trump’s allies might be sneaking onto planes with alleged Antifa operatives.
On June 1, several far-right Facebook pages spread a viral hoax alleging that a plane loaded with Antifa operatives was on its way to Boise, Idaho.
“Be ready for attacks downtown and resident areas. At least a dozen males got off the plane in Boise from Seattle, dressed head to toe in black … One had a tattoo that said Antifa America on his arm,” the widely shared post said.
Facebook appears to have removed most (but not all) versions of the hoax, although local reports suggest that it reached thousands of people in Idaho before it was taken down.
The Payette County Sheriff’s Office also dismissed the rumours as “FALSE information” in a statement on June 1.
Several far-right militia groups turned up in small-town communities in June to defend them from the phantom menace of Antifa, which never actually showed up to any of the supposed targets.
Trump has declared Antifa a terrorist organization, and he and his allies have often tried to blame anti-racism protests on the movement.
Twitter says it caught a white nationalist group trying to stir up violence last spring by posing as an official Antifa account on the platform.
Antifa is a far-left ideology that does not have a clear leader or organizational structure, according to the Anti-Defamation League.
Some supporters of the so-called “Anti-Fascist” movement have been present at rallies and protests, but there is no evidence that they have been organizing violence.
Trump on Monday tried to tie the plane story to Joe Biden, his Democratic opponent in the upcoming presidential election. Trump claimed that Biden is being controlled by people operating “in the dark shadows.”
“What does that mean? That sounds like conspiracy theory, ‘dark shadows,'” Ingraham said.
“Well, they’re people that you haven’t heard of, they’re people that are on the streets, they’re people that are controlling the streets,” he said.
Trump then suggested that “the money is coming from some very stupid rich people.”
The president also suggested, without evidence, that anti-racism protests in Portland are being driven by “anarchists” who are “paid.”
Biden sought to pin much of the violence on Trump in a speech on Monday, during which he accused the president of stoking fear and division to try to win re-election.
“He keeps telling us if he was president you’d feel safe,” Biden said. “Well, he is president, whether he knows it or not.”
Trump was slated on Tuesday to visit Kenosha, Wis., the city where police recently shot Jacob Blake, a Black man, in the back seven times.
The shooting touched off several nights of protests and unrest. It also attracted armed militia members including Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old accused of fatally shooting two protesters and injuring a third with an AR-15-style rifle.
Trump avoided condemning the actions of the accused teen shooter on Monday, saying that Rittenhouse “probably would’ve been killed” by the protesters.
Rittenhouse, who travelled to Wisconsin from another state, is facing first-degree murder charges.

What day is it ? We just came back from the States and I have to turn around and go back early tomorrow for my three hour eye appointment (finally !). So, while Mike who is feeling a little better is feeding the cats (another story) here's a quick rundown of events.
* The March On Washington:
~ From CNN:
"Fifty-seven years to the day after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech, civil rights activists are once more climbing the steps and demanding change.
The National Action Network and the Rev. Al Sharpton organized the "Commitment March: Get Your Knee Off Our Necks" event in response to the death of George Floyd in May at the hands of law enforcement.
The march is meant to be a commemoration of a seminal moment in US history -- one that demanded civil rights and economic opportunity.
On Friday, marchers will call on the Senate to pass police reform legislation named after Floyd, which the House approved in June. They will also call for dismantling systemic racism and for ensuring access to the ballot box, organizers said."
* What is next for Kenosha?Well, at least what is up for this coming Tuesday, when Trump is supposed to make an appearance. The Governor of Wisconsin wrote a letter a week ago to Trump requesting he reconsider the Tuesday visit; this request was backed up by Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes. But Trump is on a mission to fuck everything up, he seems to be in a state of possession, pounding his fists at the sky and babbling on for hours like a madman. Not our Trump, the stubborn SOB would not comply and despite the wishes of the local leadership, he is bound and determined to set the fires aflame once again in Kenosha on Tuesday:
* Meanwhile, Portland Oregon where there have been demonstrations against police brutality and the lack of racial social justice for over ninety consecutive days in a row - some are saying there have been almost 100 demonstrations - one person was killed last night. This report explains the situation, with video:

Anaphylactic Shock In Progress - Allergic To Reality
Oh God, is it over ?
Here, this is more interesting, current and real:
~ From CNN:
"Since the death of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man who was killed in police custody in May, many athletes and sports leagues have been throwing their support behind the protest movement calling for change.
The latest development came Wednesday when the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks decided to boycott their playoff game against the Orlando Magic. The Bucks were responding to the recent police shooting of Jacob Blake, which happened in Kenosha, Wisconsin, about 40 miles from Milwaukee.
"The past four months have shed a light on the ongoing racial injustices facing our African American communities," the Bucks players said in a statement. "Citizens around the country have used their voices and platforms to speak out against these wrongdoings.
"Over the last few days in our home state of Wisconsin, we've seen the horrendous video of Jacob Blake being shot in the back seven times by a police officer in Kenosha, and the additional shooting of protestors. Despite the overwhelming plea for change, there has been no action, so our focus today cannot be on basketball."
The NBA went on to postpone all three of its playoff games Wednesday, and other leagues followed suit: the WNBA, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer all called off games. The NBA and the WNBA have also postponed their games on Thursday, as have the NHL and some baseball teams.
Since the NBA restarted its season, the words "Black Lives Matter" have been prominently displayed on its court and players have been sporting social-justice messages on the backs of their jerseys. But they aren't the only athletes who have been taking a stand."
Watch for more in the morning, I have to go up to the states. You have to admit though...what a show! But it was a scary show, just like Jim Jones. Paris barked and barked, hated it.
