Dropping in to say hola. Paris and I both have been under the weather. Paris had three more bumps taken off (not malignant) and ended up with 17 stitches plus she wasn't reacting well to the anesthesia and anti-biotic. My knee is ridiculous and then I went in for chemical shots to my lower legs to address the skin cancer, which knocked me for a loop. I have to go in every four weeks and I am dreading it. Plus, the heat didn't help, but the last couple days have been cooler on the coast.
Mostly, we have been taking naps together in the A/C with Totsie who adores Paris, but for the time being my dead sea mineral baths are a thing of the past and I miss them. Paris will have her stitches out in another week, and she misses her walkies and especially the love of her life, Pete. So, it's been kind of sad. We are slowly coming out of it & I'm going to try to make some Greek baked cod tomorrow if I can get out of bed.
I think we watched every program on 911 and I felt like I was in a dark Bootes-voide for days afterwards. Speaking of terrorists, I think Governor DeSantis of Florida is a terrorist and these extreme right wing idiots are terrorists. Thank goodness Biden invoked the mandate and according to the experts, there will probably be even more mandates. Why are the American people so stupid? Why don't they just get the freakin shot(s)?
Oh, I am looking forward to ordering the new Bob Woodward & Robert Costa book, in fact I have to get on a waiting list tomorrow. And speaking of terrorists, I think Trump is a terrorist too.
BTW, here's the cod recipe. For cod, I think the frozen Alaska Wild Caught you can buy in a two pound bag at Vons is a thousand times better than what Sprouts has.
That's it for now I have to give Paris her antibiotic, rolled up in a liverworst ball. I'll add the links manana.
